What to Expect from Pain Management Coaching

At Beth Lee Naturopath, my approach is holistic, practical, and deeply rooted in lifestyle strategies. I believe that true healing comes from working with your body, not against it. My focus is on empowering you with the tools, knowledge, and support you need to create lasting change.

Your First Session

Your initial consultation is a deep dive into your health story. We’ll discuss:

  • Your health history and any current concerns

  • Your daily routines, nutrition, movement, and stress levels

  • Factors that may be contributing to chronic pain, hormonal imbalances, gut health, or other issues

  • Your goals for healing and what long-term wellness looks like for you

I take the time to understand your body’s patterns and rhythms, so we can find sustainable ways to bring it back into balance.

My Approach to Coaching

  • Lifestyle-First: Pain management starts with daily habits. I help you make small, strategic changes that support healing from the inside out.

  • Nutrition & Movement: Food and movement are medicine. We’ll explore how to use them effectively to reduce pain, balance hormones, and optimize well-being.

  • Mind-Body Connection: I incorporate nervous system regulation techniques and strategies to help shift pain cycles and improve resilience.

Follow-Up Sessions

Healing takes time. In follow-up sessions, we’ll review your progress, refine your plan, and make adjustments based on how your body is responding. My goal is to help you feel confident in managing your pain naturally, without relying on endless protocols or unnecessary interventions.

  • My journey into holistic health began early. At 16, I obtained my Certificate III in Massage Therapy, giving me a foundational, hands-on understanding of the body’s structure and function. However, it wasn’t until my own struggles with chronic pelvic pain in 2017 that I truly immersed myself in the world of holistic healing. Determined to find answers, I delved into research, consuming documentaries, reading extensively, and adopting a rigorous holistic lifestyle.

    In 2018, I formalised my studies by enrolling in a Diploma of Holistic Wellness Coaching, where I gained expertise in:
    Psychoneuroimmunology: understanding how the mind influences the nervous, endocrine, and immune systems
    - Food as Medicine: using nutrition as a tool for healing and pain management
    - Growth vs. Fixed Mindset: exploring the role of mindset in healing and resilience

    Eager to deepen my understanding of the mind-body connection, I also completed Reiki training, expanding my perspective on the energetic aspects of healing.

    In 2020, I took my education further by beginning a Bachelor of Health Science in Naturopathy, where I’m now in my fourth and final year. This has provided me with a scientific and evidence-based foundation in holistic health, herbal medicine, and natural pain management.

    With over a decade of experience in bodywork and holistic health, I combine structural, energetic, and evidence-based approaches to support those navigating chronic pain.

  • Pain management coaching focuses on guidance, education, and lifestyle strategies rather than diagnosis or treatment. While I draw from my naturopathic education, I do not diagnose conditions or prescribe supplements/medications. Instead, I help you navigate pain with practical tools, nervous system regulation, and holistic strategies that complement medical care.

  • I specialise in chronic pain conditions, including but not limited to:

    • Pelvic pain (e.g., vulvodynia, endometriosis, interstitial cystitis)

    • Nervous system dysregulation (e.g., central sensitisation, fibromyalgia)

    • Gut-related pain (e.g., IBS, SIBO, chronic bloating)

    • Musculoskeletal pain (e.g., chronic tension, postural imbalances)

  • Absolutely! My coaching is designed to complement other treatments, not replace them. I encourage an integrative approach where we work alongside your existing healthcare team.

  • You can book a single session, but I strongly recommend a 6-session package for the best results. Healing takes time, and a structured approach allows us to make meaningful progress together.

  • Yes! You don’t need a diagnosis to benefit from pain management coaching. Whether you’re dealing with unexplained chronic pain or a diagnosed condition, the focus is on practical, holistic strategies to help you feel more in control of your body.
